The world today is seeing a revival in natural indigo dyeing. However, Indigo has been produced and used in the Indian subcontinent for over two millennia. Our exceptional proficiency in achieving the blue colour was unparalleled. 

 

The workshop will make you dive into that magical process of transforming a plain white cloth into vibrant blue shades. With a combination of traditional knowledge and modern innovations, we will,

• Learn to make your own natural indigo vat.

• Block print with mud resist paste.

• Add design patterns with shibori technique.

• Dye in natural indigo.

Take home the stuff that you make + lots of unique experiences to cherish and share with others.

All the materials and tools including apron & gloves, will be provided.
